For the past 5 years, Justin has been traveling the countryside in search of old antique wood stoves, to bring them back to their former glory.
Justin has been buying old stoves from properties spanning Western NSW all the way to harbour side suburbs in Sydney, from abandoned farmhouses to inner city terraces.
With his years of experience and strong passion for colonial Australia, he has been able to breathe new life into old stoves that have not been used for many many years. His fine tuned process of welding broken cast iron and use of quality materials and products means these antique wood stoves will be burning for years to come.
WHERE OUR JOURNEY STARTED

The Wood Stove Guy Australia started the journey to bring the heart of colonial Australia back to life. Since 2018, he has been searching for old stoves and ovens to buy so he can passionately restore them to be fully functioning in today's modern indoor or outdoor kitchen.
